Brooklyn Film Festival offers local and global artists a platform to screen their works without censorship with their mission of supporting arts without limits.

The festival's mission is to champion the arts in their purest form, and this branding project is a testament to that commitment.




Assignment

Brooklyn Film Festival screens films without censorship with their mission of supporting arts without limits. This branding project aims to enhance the mission of the brand as well as create a new brand identity system.

Solution

The new brand identity and visuals, including logo, typography, and colors, are inspired by the principles of observation and perception.
This reflects the festival's unwavering belief in the power of uncensored expression, and the direct connection between filmmakers, their subjects, and the audience.


Results

By embracing the legacy of filmmakers and genuine forms of art, the Brooklyn Film Festival takes a stand against censorship and promotes the free flow of ideas.
